From "I like this picture" to three people who will price it.
BuildIt is a connector for AI assistants. Show it an interior design – an AI render of a kitchen, bathroom or fitted wardrobe – and it turns it into a fitter-ready brief, asks the handful of questions the picture cannot answer, and passes the job to UK trade platforms you choose.
How it works
- Your assistant calls
analyse_designwith your image. You get a structured brief and 5–7 questions. - You answer, choose partners, and agree to the consent text – nothing leaves the conversation before that.
create_quote_requestsubmits the job to partners that accept one directly, and for the rest gives you a link to their own job form, which you fill in there. Trades contact you directly; you track everything from a private link.
Partners
- Bark – You are handed to Bark’s category page and post the job there yourself; Bark then passes it to professionals who respond with quotes.
- Checkatrade – BuildIt submits the job directly; Checkatrade matches trades from its network who contact you.
- Rated People – You are handed to Rated People’s job form and fill it in there; tradespeople who cover your area then get in touch.
What BuildIt never does
It never shows a price it did not receive from a trade, never ranks partners by what they pay us (the list is alphabetical), never places an order or takes payment, and never shares your details before you have agreed to exactly who receives them.
Where we may be paid a referral fee, we say so on the link itself — and where a link earns us nothing, we say that too.
